This series is about childhood and motherhood. Right now, I'm looking back at childhood through my daughter's and son's eyes. I see them run in the wind, splash in water, swing in the air, collect flowers and learn about the world around them with endless amounts of imagination. I remember turning over mossy stones, climbing fences and walking in the woods for hours. When I started reading R. L. Stevenson's "A Child's Garden of Verses," to my daughter in 2013, his words spoke to the joy I was experiencing becoming a mother, raising a child and remembering what it felt like to spend the day lost in idyll play.
